| Egypt has returned to the Mediterranean Bourse of Naples, which will be held March 26-28 at the Mostra d'Oltremare. The main aim, according to the Egyptian tourism authority in Italy, is to promote 'Classic Egypt' and cruises on the Nile - destinations that over the past few months have suffered greatly - and the consolidated holiday on the Red Sea, which has shown signs of recovery. The figures on Italian tourists, especially as concerns the Red Sea, ''are gradually rising again, raising optimism for the next season.'' Egypt, the authority said in a statement, ''is at a sensitive phase of recovery and the recent Economic Development Conference in Sharm El Sheikh shows ''that the country is ready to get on its feet again. The destination is aiming for a relaunch with growth in tourism arrivals and new foreign investment with an ambitious aim'' beginning in 2016, as announced by the new tourism minister, Khaled Abbas Ramy, during the conference on the Red Sea. There is thus ''full optimism for the summer season on the way'' | | |
