| The number of tourists who arrived in Egypt in January of 2015 hit 677,500, up by 5.5 per cent than the corresponding period of 2014, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said.
In a statement, CAPMAS said the majority of tourists came from East Europe, followed by western Europe and the Middle East.
Also, the number of tourists coming from Arab countries rose by 26.4 percent in January to hit 128,800 tourists against 101,800 in the same month last year.
