| Major General Sadiq Shura, Director General of the Hurghada International Airport said that the airport has seen the arrival of five million passengers since the beginning of the year until now, and is expected to reach 7 million and a half with the end of the year.
He said the airport manager – said in a statement on Monday – that international Hurghada Airport renewed operating license for two years and that this is a sign of the extent of the airport’s ability to apply international standards followed by the airports around the world, which gives confidence to all airlines and aviation organizations in Hurghada Airport.
He added that the biggest challenge is the extent of the airport’s ability to maintain the continuation of the license through follow-up and update each Civil Aviation Organization requirements and the authority of the Egyptian aviation in terms of technical programs in place and the level of performance of employees to deal with everything new through the provision of training specialist and training courses at home and abroad.
Shura said that was honored department managers and all participants in the completion of the renewal of the operating license in the presence of the Red Sea Governor and Chairman of the Egyptian Company for Airports and leaders of the Ministry of Aviation and the Civil Aviation Authority and the directors of the old Hurghada Airport. | | |
