Germany wins the title of “Miss Mermaid” in Hurghada
 German Ellie Frank got the title of Miss Mermaid Sea in a global competition held yesterday at Sheraton Soma Bay Hotel south of Hurghada, in the presence of a large number of international media interested in the event. Heba Sobhy one of the event organizers announced, that the competition had been joint by 24 contestants from several different countries: Egypt, Germany, France, Australia, Belgium, Czech, Thailand, Lebanon, Philippines and Mexico. Heba added that the competition began at Sheraton Soma Bay Hotel on the 27th of September and was the final day on Saturday, while there was an organized training program for all contestants during that period. Heba added, that the German contestant Elli Frank got the first Miss Mermaid title, and that the Australian Michelle Steiner got the second place, and in the third place contestant was for Nicole Ockert. During the coronation Dr. Franz Kielnhofer General Manager of the Hotel Sheraton Soma Bay, said that such competitions is one of the largest competitions that promote tourism at the shores of the Red Sea, stressing that those possibilities owned by Egypt at the shores of the Red Sea need to be exposed to the whole world. Dr. Franz added: we hope that the Egyptian government and the Ministry of Tourism to share in organizing such competitions to stimulate tourism in Egypt.
