Ahmed Abdullah heads the Egyptian delegation in the Republic of Serbia
  The Serbian government praises Egypt's historic role and the formation of a committee to increase tourism between the two countries. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, welcomed the visit of the Egyptian delegation headed by the Governor of the Red Sea, Major General Ahmed Abdullah, and emphasized the strong ties between Egypt and Serbia During his meeting with the Egyptian delegation, he said that his government is seeking strong relations with Egypt as the heart of the Arab world and stresses that relations between the two countries are deeply rooted in history, with the participation of President Joseph Tito of Yugoslavia President Gamal Abdel Nasser in founding the Non-Aligned Movement. The Deputy Prime Minister also expressed his preliminary approval for the consideration of requests announced by Maj. Gen. Ahmad Abdullah to facilitate Egyptians' access to the entry visa for the Republic of Serbia and to facilitate the Egyptian charter flight for landing and take-off permits. The Red Sea Governor welcomed the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and the President of the City of Yagodina, adding that the signing of the Town Twinning Agreement between the city of Marsa Alam and the city of Yagudina marks a strong start of close cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism and aviation , During the meeting of the Egyptian delegation with the participation of the head of the Port Authority of the Red Sea and the investors from tourism, trade and sport in the Red Sea signed Sharm El Sheikh and representatives of various sectors of the agreement, the Minister of Commerce, Tourism and Communications said that Serbia wanted to increase trade and tourism between the two countries and called on the Egyptian government to open a commercial agency in the Serbian capital through grasshoppers. The Governor of the Red Sea, Maj. Gen. Ahmad Abdullah, called for direct flights from the Serbian airports to Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Cairo airports to facilitate the transfer of tourists between the two countries, especially since tourist traffic from Serbia reaches only 40,000 tourists. The two sides agreed to set up a committee to study how to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the tourism, trade and sport sectors and to respect the terms of the agreement.
