Red Sea Governor and Swiss Ambassador inaugurate Swiss Consulate in Hurghada
  General Ahmed Abdallah Red Sea Governor and Swiss Ambassador to Cairo, Paul Garnier, inaugurated tonight the Swiss Honorary Consulate at El Gouna Resort in Hurghada, in the presence of Engineer Sameeh Sawiris and Mrs. Véronique Luchi, Head of Swiss Nationals in the Red Sea and some members of the Swiss community. For his part, the governor of the Red Sea welcomed all participants, in particular the Swiss Ambassador to Cairo, expressing his great joy at the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Switzerland in the Red Sea, stressing that the It helped to strengthen cooperation between the Egyptian and Swiss sides, inviting Swiss tourists to visit the Red Sea and enjoy the charm of nature and the beauty of the landscape. For his part, the Ambassador of Switzerland thanked the Governor for his warm hospitality, expressed his great joy to visit this charming city of Hurghada, as he congratulated Mrs. Veronique Luchi for her role of choosing an honorary consul for the Swiss community in Hurghada and indicated that it would strive to increase the number of Swiss tourists in the coastal governorate. In the same context, Major-General Ahmed Abdullah dedicated the shield of the province to the Swiss ambassador in Cairo, Paul Garnier, on the occasion of the opening of the Swiss consulate, stressing that he wanted to increase the number of robberies destinations to the seaside resorts of the Red Sea.
