The International Tourism Day (ETI) in Marsa Alam was opened with the participation of 180 tourist companies from all over the world (Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania and Poland). The aim is to identify tourist areas to promote the province and attract more tourists to open new markets in the Different countries .
The opening of the day included a meeting between the tourism companies and the companies to give an account of their activities. Egyptian tourism companies and marine activities companies also present the best activities and tourist areas in the governorate.
A recreational program was organized for the delegations between the cities of Hurghada and Marsa Alam to view the tourist areas and to identify new tourist places to work on marketing and conveying a wonderful picture of the governorate. The program includes various marine activities, safari trips to the desert and the visit to Al Qala'an, one of the most beautiful areas in Marsa Alam. Marathon to walk 5 kilometers and then complete the conference in Marsa Alam and then travel to Hurghada to spend a tour of its famous hotels and finish the tour and return home.
The Governor said in his opening speech that the Red Sea Governorate is rich in natural resources, unique views and mild weather compared to European countries. He welcomed all attendees to the magic of the World Tourism City Marsa Alam, pointing to the most important features of the cities of the province and what the city enjoys. "He added that the country is intensifying its efforts to continuously develop tourism and to create new tourist destinations and tourism activities that attract more tourists. Tourists annually, and wished them happy in the Red Sea to set up and transfer what they have seen during the visit to their country and the safety of the atmospheres and wonderful landscapes that God has bestowed to maintain security
